Individual Opportunities – Committee involvement; leadership opportunities; community service; awards and recognition; business and social contacts.

For an overview of how our local Women’s Council relates to our regional district as well as our State and National councils and associations, view our MEMBER BENEFITS ORGANIZATION CHART. This chart outlines all the amazing events, committees, and councils your membership provides on a yearly basis. A BIA/SC Women’s Council membership is a tremendous value for those who believe in peer-to-peer support and networking to expand their personal and professional success in the building industry.

MEMBER STATUS & DUES INFORMATION

Member – Women's Council is open to any individual who is already in good member standing with the BIA/SC and the NAHB. Any employee and/or family member associated with the member in good standing can join Women's Council.

All members of BIA/SC Women’s Council are automatically members of any division under the regional BIA/SC Women’s Council and can attend any BIA/SC Women’s Council event as a registered WC member at the event’s member-only pricing. A BIA/SC Women’s Council is not required to participate at events, although participation is encouraged and welcomed.

Dues – Dues are set on an anniversary basis so members receive a full year’s membership value for their money. Dues also include a subscription to NAHB’s Building Women monthly magazine, distributed by NAHB in Washington, D.C. Dues are $85.00 per annum. ($35.00 of the per annum fee is paid directly to NAHB Women’s Council and $5.00 of the per annum fee goes to CBIA Women’s Council – only $45.00 stays with our local council to help with administration costs.)
